Renae Geerlings Returns Home With Husband, Actor Tyler Mane,

to Screen Their New Supernatural Thriller Compound Fracture

Starring Three Of Today’s Most Notorious Movie Killers

Los Angeles, CA – Zeeland High School and Hope College graduate, Renae Geerlings, and her husband, actor Tyler Mane, will screen their new film, Compound Fracture, at the Celebration! Woodland Cinema Grand Rapids on June 26th. This will be one stop on a cross-country tour throughout the U.S. and Canada.  Geerlings and Mane, known primarily for his acting career (his credits include, Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s Halloween & Halloween II, Troy, The Scorpion King, Joe Dirt, X-Men), co-wrote, produced and co-star in this new thriller. VIP ticket holders will take part in an exclusive pre-show meet-n-greet with Geerlings and Mane, a photo opportunity, signing and will be automatically entered to win one of several prizes, including but not limited to props and costumes from the film Compound Fracture, a walk-on role in Mane’s next film, Penance Lane, or an on-screen worn Michael Myers jumpsuit that Mane wore in the Rob Zombie cult-classic film, Halloween. All ticket holders are invited to stay for Q & A immediately following the film.

Geerlings attended both Zeeland High School and Hope College, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Early in her stay in LA however, she was hired at Top Cow Productions, one of the biggest comic book studios at that time, and worked her way up to Editor in Chief.  It was during that time that she met Tyler while he was promoting his film, X-Men. “Tyler has always encouraged me to do what I love,” says Geerlings. “We talked for years about creating our own films and developed several ideas, but Compound Fracture was the logical first one out of the gate. I’m really excited to bring this one home. It’s not mindless horror. So far audience members from age 10 to 85 have really enjoyed it.”

Shot in Los Angeles, Compound Fracture stars three of today’s most iconic killers, Tyler Mane (Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween II), Derek Mears (Jason in Friday the 13th), and Muse Watson (Ben Willis in I Know What You Did Last Summer). The film also features Leslie Easterbrook, Todd Farmer, and Daniel Roebuck. Directed by Anthony J. Rickert-Epstein and produced by Mane’s production company, Mane Entertainment, Compound Fracture will screen in select cities across the country through the end of the year.

Compound Fracture synopsis:

Michael Wolffsen (Mane) has just gotten custody of his only sister’s son after she was murdered by her husband before his very eyes. When he receives an urgent phone call, Michael takes his nephew and wife and makes the journey home to his only other living relative: his estranged, eccentric (and extremely paranoid) father (Watson) who is obsessed with building an unassailable compound. Once there, Michael hopes to repair his shattered family, but instead he finds that they are all trapped inside his father’s creation when the ghost of his vengeful brother-in-law (Mears) returns to wipe out the rest of the Wolffsen family.
